Bells Mountain Weekday Trail Closure

Update 2/6/2021 – Logging has finished in this area of the trail. There is still some debris but the trail is now open all days.

Logging operations in the Yacolt Burn State Forest are causing weekday closures on the Bells Mountain Trail about 5 miles north of Cold Creek Day Use Area through March 31st, 2021.

Trail Damage on Bells Mountain Trail

The recent storms have caused some small trees to fall across the trail and a larger tree to fall creating a hole in the trail. Someone has put a couple of logs into the hole as a temporary repair. The logs are a little slippery and mountain bikers and equestrian riders need to be careful at this spot. The damage is about 0.25 mile north of the Cold Creek Day Use area.
