CTA recognizes that we are navigating health challenges we have never seen before. With guidance from our land manager partners we are engaging in limited in-person volunteer activities with a keen eye towards safe and healthy practices. We are currently requiring all volunteers to be fully vaccinated.

Friends of Road 4109 Brushout Workday

July 10 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Join CTA and Friends of Road 4109. We will remove brush and young trees from the shoulders of Road 4109 to make room for a dump truck to reach the trailhead.
When: July 15th, Checkin at 9 AM for a mandatory safety meeting at 9:30. Then we will work through the afternoon.
Where: The junction of USFS Road 4109 and DNR Road 1100

What to bring: Sturdy boots, gloves, a gallon of water, a sack lunch and any digging or cutting tools that you would like to use. Shovels, pickaxes, bowsaws, pruners, and machetes will all be useful. Eye protection is also recommended.
